Oh, here are some updates about the Tony Roma’s first time buffet last week. I went for the buffet after watching Ice Age 3 at Cineleisure. A couple of my friends didn’t want to go initially and since we couldn’t decide where else to eat for lunch we ended up at Tony Roma. We didn’t had to wait too long to enter and was given a square table for 5 person. My friend’s wife was not happy and make noise till they gave us another table. She didn’t want all of us to squeeze in and eat uncomfortably. As for the food, they only have beef ribs, mashed potatoes, salad, and another dish, like chicken. The chicken or not was a bit hard so I gave up eating and took beef ribs after that. I guess that was what most of the other customers had. Actually I don’t find anything special about the beef ribs. To me, its still pretty much like any other beef ribs that I can get elsewhere. There are 4 kinds of sauces that you can choose from. I only took the spicy sauce.

Drinks were free flow, juices, soft drinks and beers. I didn’t had any juices but my friends were telling me that it was pretty diluted. We didn’t had any beer as well but guess it would be the same too. Soft drinks was still the better choice. Anyway, I had six beef ribs and I doubt it would cover the buffet price which comes to about RM52 per person. I saw a group of people where they stacked up their beef ribs bones till about 12″ high. The others were just moderate. We left at 2pm and didn’t stay on to find out who was the winner for the ribs eating competition.
