Just called up Telekom to cancel my account. Since there was no cancellation/termination option on the phone menu, I had to select billing department. After giving all my details as verification, the billing side told me that they will now open a report and sent it to the termination department side. They will then call me up to verify that I want to cancel my account. WTF. Why can’t they do everything at the billing department? I’m pretty sure when the termination department calls me up, they will be asking me the same verification questions again which is pretty time wasting. It is pretty annoying when you are repeatedly asked the same questions over and over again. It is the same as the technical support when you call up. Always the same standard question being asked.
